Project Scheduler, Abu Dhabi (Local hire only)
As Project Scheduler you will be dedicated to one project in Abu Dhabi, you will be responsible for performing technical planning, analysis, documentation and maintenance of the program master schedule.
To be successful you will hold a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of project scheduling experience, including 2 years of Primavera software usage and a high level of knowledge / understanding of additional software MS Project and / or Project Scheduler. In addition you will have a thorough knowledge of Resource Loaded Networks, critical path methodology and the use of automated scheduling tools.
Lead Engineer, Abu Dhabi
This position will lead all technical aspects of the design, implementation, testing and training of a world-class Security Management System for a project. This position supervises all project engineers, installation technicians, integration subcontractors and draftsman to ensure professional results as per the system specifications.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 15 years experience in the integrated security industry with at least 8 years at a Senior Management level.
Security Systems Engineer, Abu Dhabi
To provide technical design and assurance for new and ongoing large integrated security design projects globally. This will include technical, physical, operational and security advice. To provide design services to clients, and to provide advice to the other business units on security measures. To supervise subordinates and ensure that work is carried out in a competent and timely manner.
The successful candidate will have at least 8 years experience in the security industry with a broad knowledge of the following technologies: radar, CCTV, Electro-optic systems, PTZs, sonar, access control systems, wireless communications, electronic archiving, fence sensors, and command / control display technologies.
Integration Engineer, Abu Dhabi
To ensure that the disparate range of equipment selected for this project is fully and seamlessly integrated for the selected Security Management System (SMS). This position will also serve as the Olive Group subject matter expert for SMS systems.
To be successful you will have a BSc in Communications Engineering or Degree qualified in Telecommunication Engineering. With 10 years experience in the design and construction of integrated telecommunication systems and IT networks which will ideally be within the Oil and Gas industry.
IT Support Specialist, Al Ain (Local hire only)
This will involve the implementation / setup of IT and Telecommunication systems in accordance with corporate policies, standards and procedures and other requirements specific to the required project. This will cover standalone, network level hardware and software installations, workgroup / LAN setup, with maintenance and support of these systems.
The successful candidate will need a minimum 3 to 4 years experience of working in an IT technical support environment including 2 years infrastructure type experience. With a high level of hands-on experience on systems ranging from LANs / workgroups and network infrastructure to desktops, laptops, backup systems, scanners, printers, PDAs, mobile phones, and 3G data cards.
Translator, Al Ain
To convert written material from one language into the target language (Arabic or English) ensuring that the translated version is as accurate as the original language text in both grammar and meaning. To ensure legal, technical and commercial terminology remains present and correct throughout the translation process.
To be successful you will be fluent in both Arabic and English to an expert level both written and read, with excellent communication skills.
Principal Consultant, Abu Dhabi
To provide technical design and assurance for new and ongoing large integrated security design projects globally. This will include technical, physical, operational and electronic ITS and security advice. To provide design services to clients and to provide advice to the business units on ITS/security measures.
Due to the seniority of the position, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years experience in the security industry with at least 8 years at a Senior Consultant level. With a broad knowledge of security equipment hardware/software technologies in the current market place and of technical infrastructure and integration technologies.
Country General Manager, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The role of the Country General Manager (CGM) will be to lead business development and marketing to create a corporate regional brand, identify potential business partners and manage in country relationships. To manage the in-country financial operations to the fullest extent including procedures and controls with full P&L accountability.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, dynamic, entrepreneurial professional with at least 10 years of highly successful work history, a strong defense and security background in Middle Eastern or Asian markets with a proven record of successful business development and P&L management.
Contracts & Subcontracts Manager, Abu Dhabi
To be dedicated to a program in Abu Dhabi, UAE with travel to Doha, Qatar, to take on the responsibility for the commercial and financial aspects of the IS3 business unit. This is a pivotal role which acts as a conduit between Project Delivery and the various subcontractors.
To be successful you will have BA or BS in Business Administration (or related field such as marketing, finance or economics), 10 years of related work experience, Construction industry experience and in depth Middle East business exposure/knowledge.
Telecoms Engineer, Abu Dhabi or Dubai
To support a program in Abu Dhabi, UAE with frequent travel to Doha, Qatar. To ensure that all telecoms requirements for the disparate range of equipment selected for this project is fully and seamlessly integrated into the converged network design philosophy being adopted on the project. This position will also serve as the Olive Group subject matter expert for telecoms systems.
To be successful you will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications Engineering or degree qualified in Telecommunications Engineering. Minimum of 10 years experience in the design and construction of Integrated Telecommunication Systems and IT Networks. Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/MCSE Certification is desirable.
Senior Document Controller, Abu Dhabi
To ensure adequate procedures and processes are established and implemented for effective documentation control and auditing. To assume role as sole custodian and control the process flow for all outgoing and incoming documents and drawings, to/from Olive Group, Vendor and the Client.
To be successful you will have 2 years minimum work history as a document controller, excellent working knowledge and skills in Microsoft Word 2003, Microsoft Excel 2003 spreadsheets and Microsoft Access 2003 database software. You will also be an effective team player who can work under minimal management/supervision, with good communication skills, both verbal and written.
CAD Operator, Dubai
The Olive Group requires a CAD Operator to work on various projects throughout the region. Experience is preferred from within an Electronic/Wiring field, IT or Telecoms, with the ability to follow multiple hand drawn plans.
To be successful in this position you will be CAD qualified with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on repetitive tasks.
Risk Consultants, Middle East
To work as either a sole consultant or team member and provide strategic and operational level Crisis and Security Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning Services to customers in the Middle East, Asia and Africa regions.
To be successful in this position you will have 2-3 years track record of threat analysis and risk management experience in the corporate sector ideally within the Middle East, with a focus on bespoke and innovative solutions for high-risk or volatile environments.
HSE Lead Consultant, Dubai or Abu Dhabi
To lead the company’s efforts into developing the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) aspect of the business by working with existing clients and developing new ones. This role will involve Business Development and delivery, the aim is to build a credible team to support the capability.
To be successful in this position you will have 10 years+ track record within the HSE industry, working with a focus on bespoke and innovative solutions and policy development.
General Manager, Gurgaon, India
To oversee the management of the company’s day to day activity, manage the P & L of a growing business, meet the business plans objectives, build the organisations team, processes, brand and subsequently expand the company into new markets. To lead business development and marketing initiatives, whilst developing the countries operation, strategy and vision.
To be successful in this position you will be a dynamic, entrepreneurial professional with at least 10 years of highly successful work history, a strong service or security background in the Middle East and or Asian Markets, with a proven record of business development and P & L responsibility.
Business Assistant, Gurgaon, India
To provide a high quality administrative co-ordination function and ensure the time management of the Managers is optimised. To co-ordinate and administer meetings and conferences both locally and internationally. To establish and maintain efficient administration processes in the office.
To be successful in this position you will be a confident user of all Microsoft Office Tools, be able to handle multiple tasks and thrive when working to deadlines. Excellent communication skills and written ability in English essential.
