Chairman of International Advisory Group and Ethics Committee

Sir Cedric joined Olive Group in 2005 as a Senior Advisor and is now the Chairman of the International Advisory Group and Ethics Committee.

During his career in the British Army, Sir Cedric spent much of his service commanding Special Forces units at every level, and was responsible for the re-balancing of the SAS from domestic counter-terrorism back to other ways of countering risks and threats, particularly those arising from overseas. Sir Cedric also served as a member of the UK Prime Minister's COBRA, which acts in times of national crisis. Sir Cedric worked closely with allied nations, including the post of Senior British Military Advisor to the US Headquarters responsible for the Middle East. Sir Cedric retired from the British Army in 2005. The last appointments he held were Commander UK Field Army, with a budget of £2.5 billion and responsibility for the Army's collective training resources, and Deputy Commander in Chief NATO Headquarters Armed Forces North (Brunssum).

Sir Cedric was knighted in 2003.

Peter advises Olive Group on Policing, Special Events, Critical National Infrastructure Protection and Counter-Terrorism.

Peter joined Olive Group in April 2008 after 30 years with the Metropolitan Police, retiring as Assistant Commissioner (Specialist Operations) with responsibility for all aspects of Security, Protection and Counter Terrorism operations and policy. For four years he commanded the Royalty and Diplomatic Protection Department, with the remit for the protection of the Royal Family, the Diplomatic Community in London and the Houses of Parliament. Later, for nearly six years, as the National Co-ordinator of Terrorist Investigations, he led the investigations into every act of terrorism in the UK and against British interests overseas, including the July 2005 attacks in London, the Bali bombings and a number of attacks in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and elsewhere. Peter has been engaged in operations, training and inter-governmental negotiations in Europe, North and South America, Australia and the Middle East.

Peter attended the Royal College of Studies in 2002. He is a Fellow of the Center on Law and Security at New York University, and in 2008 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Laws by the University of Bristol.

Dame Glynne advises Olive Group on its work for the British and foreign Governments, with links with the science and technology sectors, International Organisations and NGOs along with being an Adviser to the Director of the Defence Academy and an Associate Fellow of the Royal United Services Institute.

She was a British diplomat for 34 years serving in Buenos Aires , UN New York and Brussels and on secondment to the UN Secretariat and developed particular expertise on the EU, UN and international peacekeeping, conflict and humanitarian affairs on which she lectured regularly at Defence and War Colleges in the UK and overseas. She was Ambassador to Chile and later to Portugal and worked with major British companies to help promote their export interests in those markets.

Dame Glynne holds a PhD in Latin American History from University College London and was an University lecturer in Latin American history before joining the FCO. On secondment from the FCO she was also a Research Associate at the International Institute of Strategic Studies and a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Nato Defence College . Since retirement, she has been a Research Associate at the Royal United Services Institute and an Adviser to the Director of the Defence Academy. Her interests are military history and music.

David advises Olive Group on its work in the US domestic markets regarding training and leadership.

David began serving as president and chief executive officer of the McCormick Tribune Foundation in September 2005. He was the foundation’s executive vice president and chief operating officer from 1999 to 2005.

David came to the foundation after 30 years of service in the U.S. Army with his final position as Commanding General of the First Infantry Division, known as the “Big Red One.” In that position, he served in Germany, Bosnia, Macedonia, and Kosovo.

David holds a bachelor’s of science degree from North Georgia College and a master’s of public service from Western Kentucky University.

Air Vice-Marshal David supports Olive Group in its aviation services (both rotary and fixed wing) work in the UK and internationally, as well as in its Crisis Management practice.

Air Vice-Marshal David commenced his career with the Royal Air Force as a helicopter pilot flying support helicopters. After attending the Royal College of Defence Studies, he went on to assist in establishing the UK's Permanent Joint Headquarters at Northwood and subsequently commanded the Plans Division. Air Vice-Marshal David was appointed the first Commander of the Joint Helicopter Command in 1999 and held this post for three years until retirement.

Since his retirement, Air Vice-Marshal David has been a consultant to the defence industry.

Fred joined Olive Group in October 2006 and is one of the most experienced organisers of port security in Europe and has a global track record in counter terrorist policing and border control.

In a long and distinguished career with the UK Police service, he has acquired a wealth of experience in all major support aspects of port security, from biometric applications and integrating IT counter-measure within a ports policing environment to organising inter-agency co-operation and hands-on management of physical security.

His experience of wider security and policing matters includes disaster response and logistics management for major incidents such as Lockerbie, running covert counter-terrorist agents, membership of teams leading security planning for nuclear power stations and involvement in hostage negotiation work.

During his career he was appointed Assistant Chief Constable and seconded to the Home Office in London as the National Co-ordinator Ports Policing (Special Branch) for the United Kingdom . In this role, he acted as an advisor to the Home Secretary; Secretary of State & Scottish Executive; Secretary of State for Northern Ireland and all 55 Chief Police Officers in the UK on counter-terrorism measures for air and seaports and the Channel Tunnel.

He currently acts as an independent consultant on police systems and management, communications/intelligence management, Special Branch IT projects and proactive counter-terrorism measures at ports and border controls. Fred was awarded a QPM in 2000 for services to ports policing.

Lincoln advises Olive Group on worldwide Political and Military Affairs as well as US Foreign Policy with regards to Olive Group’s operations.

Lincoln was designated by President Bush as Special Envoy with the rank of Ambassador in January 2008, with the task of addressing the risk to global aviation of shoulder-fired missiles in the hands of non-state actors. He served as Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs from 2001-2005, with the additional designation by President Bush and Secretary Powell to be the Special Representative of the President and Secretary of State for Mine Action. He oversaw a wide portfolio of security interests including international Critical Infrastructure Protection efforts for the U.S.

Previously, Lincoln served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs (1992-93); Deputy Assistant to the Vice President for National Security Affairs (1991-92); Member, U.S. Delegation to Philippine Base Negotiations (1990-91); Member, U.S. Water Mediation in the Middle East (1989-90); and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for International Security Affairs (1988-89), among other defence policy positions beginning in 1981. Lincoln is also Chairman of the Board of the Henry L. Stimson Centre in Washington, D.C., a founding Board member of Survivor Corps, and is affiliated with the Centre for Strategic and International Studies as well as the Bipartisan Policy Centre in Washington.

Lincoln graduated from Harvard College in 1974 and received a Master in Arts of Law and Diplomacy degree in 1980 from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

Lord Renwick advises Olive Group on business and political affairs internationally.

Lord Renwick is currently Vice Chairman, Investment Banking, of JP Morgan Europe and of JP Morgan Cazenove.

Lord Renwick served in the British Diplomatic Service, rising to become Ambassador to South Africa from 1987 to 1991 and Ambassador to the United States from 1991 to 1995. He is Chairman of Fluor Limited and a director of Richemont AG, Kazakhmys plc and GEM Diamonds Ltd . Lord Renwick is also a trustee of The Economist.

Dr Robert M. Farrell advises Olive Group on development of its technology solutions offerings, and US Defence and Homeland Security matters

Dr Farrell is President and CEO of Seneca Technology Group, a firm focused on bringing innovative people and technology to challenging problems of defence, national security and homeland security. Robert is the founder and principal of the firm.

Previously Robert was a Vice President and General Manager of General Dynamics, Fairfax, VA, running a business focused on bringing innovative mission solutions to challenging federal government problems in security, defence, intelligence, and homeland security. Before this role he was President of Veridian Information Solutions. He held this position since its creation by Veridian in 1999, when Veridian acquired his prior company, MRJ. Robert was a principal officer in the firm, taking Veridian public on the NYSE in 2002.

Robert received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Villanova University in 1969 and an M.S. in Systems Engineering & OR from the University of Pennsylvania in 1971. He received a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering and Computer Systems from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979.

In addition to being Chairman of the Council on Innovative Technology of Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA), Robert is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Security Affairs Support Association (SASA), and prior Chairman of the SASA Programs Committee.
